Join me and the Birdsy Community

For the last 18 months, I have been privileged to have been working on a very exciting project, with a dedicated and enthusiastic team. They had a vision to create a unique camera-based product that would not only monitor a feeding station, but ID the species visiting too! It's pretty incredible!

The project has just reached  the exciting point where it will now be available to the public and we have now launched on Kickstarter. With discounts available to our backers, if you love watching wildlife and would like to monitor your visitors, this camera could be for you! You just need POWER and a decent INTERNET connection.

Click the link above to go to the Kickstarter page. By becoming one of our backers, you will not only receive a discount off of the camera, but also receive 1080p video (rather than standard 720p) but also get free iCloud storage FOR LIFE! You will also be able to LIVE STREAM your camera at no additional cost.

By using this link, I receive a small % of the sale, to go towards my camera and live stream and bird food costs.

So, what's it all about?

I have been using a number of cameras in my own patch, plus I have set them up at Aigas Field Centre, Ballintean Mountain Lodge,  Hillockhead on The Black Isle and even in Ecuador! I can log into the cameras via my phone, tablet or PC and not only watch the cam live, but also see all the recordings. I lift the clips and share them. If you follow me on social media, you will have seen many of them.

This is one of my favourite set-ups. It is a tyre waterhole in my garden. This camera live streams on my website. This recording shows the view I get on my PC, when I log into the camera. It gives you a flavour of what this clever system is capable of...

Here are a selection of Birdsy clips, to show what the system is capable of. It will film both day and night. It is able to ID most common British birds and the AI is now being 'taught' how to recognise common mammals!

You can find out more on the KICKSTARTER PAGE as well as the BIRDSY WEBSITE. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
